The 23-24 academic year saw the celebration of Harrow International Shenzhen Speech Day, a glorious and joyful occasion

This week, Harrow International Shenzhen concluded the 2023-24 academic year with a prestigious Speech Day.

This time-honoured event, spanning over 200 years at Harrow, not only celebrated the academic achievements of the past year but also represented an exciting occasion as the entire school community prepared for the challenges of the upcoming academic year.

Distinguished guests, ladies and gentleman, boys and girls. Welcome to Speech Day, which celebrates the many successes of the academic year 2023/24. One in which we have been so proud to witness your many achievements. Now looking forward and what will the new academic year bring. We will be welcoming new teachers and staff to continue supporting our wonderful and talented pupils. We will be launching a new and aspirational target to deliver: “Excellence across all areas”. This will focus on: High quality teaching and learning with the best outcomes. Further development of the learning environment with a focus on new technologies. Working collectively with pupils, parents and staff to deliver excellence. Communicating regularly and building stronger relationships.
